UDC’S DR. FREDDIE DIXON HONORED SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9TH AT 7 PM EDT

Dr. Freddie Dixon of UDC’s College of the Arts & Sciences (CAS) was selected by the 2021 Women of Color (WoC) STEM Digital Conference Awards Committee for Educational Leadership at the college level. Professor Dixon will be honored for her efforts in STEM education (NSF STEM Center) at the University of the District of Columbia. She will receive her award tomorrow (Saturday), October 9th, at 7:00 pm.

The Annual Women of Color STEM Conference is a significant event to highlight the achievements of women in the fields of industry, government, and academia and will be live-streamed on YouTube tomorrow.
