UDC CAUSES Delivers Food to Martha’s Table and Jones Memorial Methodist Church

Che Axum, Director of Urban Agriculture and Gardening Education, UDC CAUSES, and Ronnie Hayes, Fleet Program Specialist, UDC, delivered lettuce, mustard greens, kale, and chard to Martha’s Table in Ward 8, and Jones Memorial Methodist Church in Ward 7. Jocelyn Johnson-Green of the East River Family Strengthening Collaborative, Inc., a partner of Jones Memorial, coordinated the church’s produce distribution. Each organization received 30-40 lbs. of fresh produce, grown at UDC’s urban farms. #UDC1851 #udcspirit
