OSSP receives Innovative Agency Award (OCP)
The University of the District of Columbia’s (UDC) Office of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (OSSP)(OCP) was recognized as a finalist for the Innovative Agency Award by the D.C. Chapter of the National Institute of Government Procurement (NIGP). The Award Luncheon was on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. UDC/OSSP will be featured in the next edition of the D.C. Chapter of the NIGP’s newsletter. The award acknowledges procurement agencies that demonstrate modernized practices through the use of technology, data, and fresh ideas to carry out procurement tasks in trailblazing manners such as implementing new tools, systems, and programs in cradle-to-grave procurement processes, which is what our new Jaggaer system will do for the University.
