2019 UDC STEAM Symposium

The College of Arts and Sciences would like to invite you to join us for the 2019 UDC STEAM Symposium Kickoff event, to be held January 23, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Ballroom A. This free, open to the public event will focus on the endless possibilities of STEAM/STEM (Science Technology Engineering (Art) Mathematics), from the careers we choose to operations in our daily lives. The highlight of the event, will be a “Living Room Chat” with invited women of color, STEAM Entrepreneurs to share their experiences in STEAM and STEM and discuss their journeys to success! The event will also feature presentations from UDC faculty on 3-D printing from Professor Davide Prete (Division of Arts and Humanities) and displays of fractal art designed by Dr. Abdi Darai (Division of Sciences and Mathematics).  For more information, please contact Dr. Kim Barnette at kim.barnette@udc.edu.
