Team UDC has qualified for the final event of the ‘Peeptrade University Challenge’ earning University of the District of Columbia the title ‘Top Educator of Future Investors’.

The Fall Term 2017 Peeptrade University Investment Challenge:
- Competition started on Oct. 2, 2017
- 53 teams, composed of 265 students, from around the globe competed
- Starting with $1,000,000 and an investment strategy, each team put their financial theory into practice
Team UDC, based on the successful performance of your portfolio, qualifies for the final event!
- Final event starts @ 2pm on Sat, Dec. 2
- Event streaming on Facebook Live
- Location: The University of Chicago renowned> Math-Stat Building
- Teams will present and defend the investments they made to a panel of judges from the investment management industry
- Winners selected based on the strength and articulation of their strategy, not just the growth of their portfolio
- Champion awarded the title ‘Peeptrade Global Investment Champion’ and$3,000!
The final teams are from the following schools: MIT, University of Chicago, BYU, Indiana State University, LBS, Tecnológico de Monterrey, NTU, John Hopkins University, University of St. Thomas, UDC, UFM, and Vlerick
