Professional Food Manager
(Basic Food Sanitation)

Professional Food Managers work in many settings—restaurants, childcare centers, and other places where food is served. As a Professional Food Manager, you'll be responsible for making sure that all food is safe and sanitary. DC regulations require this certification for those working around food.

Career Path: If you like this career, you can become a restaurant manager, line cook, chef, or food specialist with additional training and certification
