Did you know that there are more than 1,000 new construction jobs in the DC metro area every year?

WDP has two programs to prepare you for certification.

Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning I (HVAC I)
HVAC I graduates work in commercial and residential settings as entry-level HVAC technicians. You will learn how to install new systems and do basic repair of existing HVAC systems.

Class materials: Heating and Cooling Essentials (textbook) by Jerry and LaDonna Killinger

Career Path: If you like this career, you can become a master level HVAC Technician with additional training and certification

Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning II (HVAC II)
HVAC II graduates work graduates work in commercial and residential settings as journey-level HVAC technicians. You will learn to install new systems, repair existing HVAC systems, and perform more complex diagnostic HVAC. HVAC II prepares students to pass the H.E.A.T. (Heating, Electrical, Air Conditioning, Technology) certification exam.
