About Upward Bound

What Is Upward Bound?

Upward Bound is a year-round college preparatory program that provides high school students academic assistance, educational and career guidance and cultural enrichment activities. Students are expected to remain in the program until they complete high school. It is one of the several programs sponsored by the University of the District of Columbia’s Office for TRIO and College Preparatory Programs that encourage high school students to graduate and pursue a post-secondary education.  It is a part of UDC’s Division of Student Affairs.
