UDC Winter Commencement

Washington, DC - Two-hundred and 16 proud graduates crossed the stage on January 28th to get their degrees from the University of the District of Columbia. These graduates completed programs from Architectural Engineering and Technology to Water Quality Management - MBA and Public Administration and Computer Science. Delivering the keynote address was WTTG Fox-5 Weather Anchor and Reporter Gwen Tolbart, who urged students to keep positive about their accomplishments and give back to the community that has supported them. President Allen L. Sessoms congratulated the graduates and noted this commencement, coming a day before the university's kick off gala celebrating 160 years of public higher education in Washington, carried special meaning, not only for them but for the city at large.
