UDC Center Lillian McGill Named Black College Sports Page's Player of the Week
Washington, DC - Lillian McGill, a junior center for the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds Women's Basketball Team was named the Player of the Week by the Black College Sports Page for the week of February 16-22, 2010. McGill, a Sumter, South Carolina native, received this recognition for scoring 20 points and grabbing 16 rebounds against Washington Adventist University on February15, 2010.
McGill, who is currently ranked #1 in the country among NCAA Division II schools in rebounds, averaging 12.2 rpg, recently recorded her 18th double double of the season.
