World AIDS Day
Washington, DC - University System of DC President Dr. Allen Sessoms led an enthusiastic group of students and employees as the university commemorated World AIDS Day on December 1st. Dr. Shannon Hader, Director of the DC HIV/AIDS Administration was the featured speaker. She told the crowd that DC leads the nation in the percentage of citizens living with HIV/AIDS - but that outreach and awareness efforts in the city are among the most aggressive in the nation.
