'Ceramic Tile Carpet' Unveiled on UDC Main Campus
Washington, DC -- UDC President Allen Sessoms today helped unveil the ‘Ceramic Tile Carpet’ in front of the Administration Building. The project was taken on by Marcela Noriega del Valle, a ceramics professor in the Mass Media, Visual and Performing Arts Department. Del Valle and designer Suzanne Moe worked on the project, which took 10 days from manufacture to installation. Del Valle and Moe will soon be working on a series of vertical ceramic murals for the inside of the building.
