UDC Announces New Appointments


Washington, DC --The University of the District of Columbia is pleased to announce several new appointments to the flagship and community colleges.

Dr. Jonathan Gueverra to CEO of the Community College, succeeding Dr. Eurmon Harvey who is returning to Edward Waters College as provost. Dr. Gueverra comes to UDC from Northern Virginia Community College where, as provost, he is credited for having increased enrollment and retention.

Dr. Jacqueline Skinner Jackson to interim Dean of Academic Affairs of the Community College. Dr. Jackson, who has a distinguished career as professor, dean, consultant and program director, taught most recently at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Education.

Alan Etter, to Director of Public Relations, Spokesperson for the University and Community College. An award-winning journalist, Etter has been the face of the DC Fire Department since 2001.

Susan Bodiker to Director of Marketing and Communications for the University and Community College. She comes to the university with over 30 years’ experience as an advertising copywriter, producer and creative strategist and has worked at major ad agencies in New York, Baltimore and Washington, DC.
