The establishment of the Office of Marketing, Communications, and Alumni Relations prepares the way for UDC to begin to form its own message about who we are, what we stand for, and where we are going. The Office of Marketing, Communications, and Alumni Relations serves the public and the University of the District of Columbia by distributing accurate and timely information about the University, producing useful and interesting publications, and enhancing the image of the University and higher education through outreach and marketing.
The Office of Marketing, Communications, and Alumni Relations is dedicated to advancing the University of the District of Columbia’s mission through image building, communications, fundraising, relationship building, and community outreach. The Office is responsible for a wide range of activities that provide the mechanism for building strong support and lasting relationships with a variety of constituencies and stakeholders, including alumni, community members, donors, lawmakers, the media, parents and friends. Departments within the unit include:
