About The Science and Engineering Center (SEC)

The Science and Engineering Center (SEC), School of Engineering and Applied Science is designated as the pre-college liaison division for the University of the District of  Columbia and the Washington Metropolitan area. In this capacity the SEC has provided a board array of services as part of its mission to improve Mathematics, Science and Technology (MSET) teaching and learning. Through its major programs the SEC provides MSET training for over 1400 students and 80 teachers annually.
