BBA Accounting
The BBA Accounting Program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Students attend courses, seminars, and gain hands-on experiences with current applicable accounting software that will acquaint them with the latest concepts in accounting. Students majoring in Accounting are required to complete 124 credit hours for graduation, of which 30 credits are in major requirements, 51 credits in ancillary requirements, including the Business Core, 37 credits in general education courses, and 6 credits in general elective courses. Students majoring in Accounting who want to sit for the uniform certified public accountant (CPA) examination may double major in Finance to work towards the 150-credit requirements. Accounting students also have the option to add a Logistics and International Trade (LIT) concentration to their program of study.
