Research Infrastructure in Minority Institutions

Welcome to the official website of the Research Infrastructure in Minority Institutions [RIMI] Project at the University of the District of Columbia [UDC], Department of Nursing and Allied Health. UDC, a historically black institution, is a Congressionally-mandated urban land-grant, comprehensive public University located in the nation’s capital. The National Institutes of Health [NIH]/National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities [NIMHD] awarded the $4.3 million dollar grant to UDC for a period of five years [2005-2010]. The University, subsequently, secured a 12-month no cost extension until July 31, 2011, to complete its work.
