Cooperative Extension Service
The Cooperative Extension Service (CES) is a District wide informal education system. CES engages, educates and empowers District residents by providing free and fee-based, non-credit classes, workshops, demonstrations and technical assistance. CES further extends beneficial information to residents through the distribution of informative publications including brochures, fact-sheets, bulletins, newsletters and more. CES is comprised of four program areas that provide programs and publications that address key urban topics:
Family & Consumer Sciences and The Center for Nutrition, Diet and Health
Community Resource & Economic Development and the Center for Cooperatives
