New Research Resource for Faculty and Graduate Students: ICPSR
You are invited to take advantage of a new UDC resource for research. If you are interested in conducting secondary analyses of national databases in in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields, please access ICPSR at http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/icpsrweb/ICPSR/org/index.jsp where UDC is a member.
Because of an interest in Health and Aging Research, the Institute of Gerontology requested (via Dean Rachel Petty and Learning Resources) that we have access to this national research resource. We have access on a trial basis, pending faculty participation and use. If you are interested in UDC maintaining membership, please email me at jmcdonald@udc.edu. I have been requested to submit a number of faculty who may be interested by October 15, 2009.
The Institute of Gerontology invites those interested in Aging to contact jmcdonald@udc.edu as we are responding to an RFP on secondary analyses of aging and health related data and need interdisciplinary collaboration.
