New Student Orientation - Accepted Students Day

Welcome Firebirds, and congratulations on your admission to the Flagship University of the District of Columbia!  We are excited that you are joining us for the fall 2012 semester!

Your attendance at the mandatory orientation for all newly admitted students is an important first step in your journey to success at UDC. At orientation, you will learn more about all of the programs and student services and supports that UDC has to offer; meet your classmates, faculty, and University leaders; and learn strategies for adapting to college life at UDC, whether you are a first time student or a transfer or readmitted student. In addition, you will have the opportunity to receive advising from the Academic Advising Center and academic programs and Departments to ensure that you receive credit for all of your prior college work, if applicable, and can develop a plan of study that reflects your interests and ensures your graduation in a timely manner.
