Opportunities on Capitol Hill
Through a partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences, the University is pleased to now offer a semester-long Congressional internship opportunity for qualified students.  Click here for more information on the Congressional Internship Program.

Opportunities in the Office of Government Relations
The Office of Government Relations offers an internship for students interested in federal relations. Our office acts as the University’s main advocate before Congress, the Administration and the local District of Columbia government. We work on a diverse set of issues in addition to higher education, including transportation, infrastructure, sustainability, commerce, and agriculture.
Previous interns have completed research projects on capital finance programs, green jobs training, and grant opportunities, while gaining skills in legislative research, federal advocacy, and project management. Our interns are an integral part of our office’s day-to-day activities and participate in nearly all meetings with elected officials and other policy stakeholders.
