SUBJECT:       Undergraduate Research Day on Thursday, April 26^th

UDC students are doing some amazing research!  On topics as varied as cancer research and robotics, our students are taking the lead.  On behalf of Drs. Freddie Dixon, Carolyn Cousin, and Deepak Kumar, I would like to invite you to join us at the UDC Undergraduate Research Day on April 26, 2012, to learn more about our students’ projects, to celebrate their accomplishments—and to inspire these students and others to take their efforts to the next level.

Undergraduate Research Day, an all-day event that began in 2008, is sponsored by the Undergraduate Research Committee, the National Science Foundation funded STEM Center, and the College of Arts and Sciences.  This judged competition has entries from all areas of research on campus as well as monetary prizes for the winning students.

The schedule of events is below and will take place in Windows Lounge, Building 38, 2nd Floor:

9:00 a.m.                    Welcome

9:15-11:00 a.m.           Student presentations

1:00-4:00 p.m.             Student Presentations

4:00-5:00 p.m.             Poster Presentations

Please make it a point to attend some portion of the Undergraduate Research Day.  I look forward to seeing you.
