UDC Student’s Microscopy Image Gains National Recognition
Life: Magnified Exhibit at Dulles Airport
Graduating Mechanical Engineering Student, Eva Mutunga, has been recognized nationally for her award-winning scientific photography! Her image, “Trachea Reef”, which won FIRST PRIZE at the national Microscopy and Microanalysis Conference last fall, was selected from over 600 submissions for the “Life: Magnified” exhibit at the Gateway Gallery at Dulles Airport (Concourse C by United Airlines), on display through November. Approximately 1.25 million people will pass through to view it and we hope that you will as well!
