UDC Participates in USA Science and Engineering Festival

Thousands packed into the Walter E. Washington Convention Center over the weekend for the USA Science & Engineering Festival.  The University was well-represented with a large booth with many demonstrations set up for kids and adults.  Pictured are graduate studies coordinator/recruiter Akua Sewer and Professor Dr. Thomas Bullock, demonstrating a number of scientific items, including special diffraction glasses which allow the users to view the color spectrum according to color.  The University thanks the following schools and individuals for helping make the event possible:  SEAS, CAS, CAUSES, Graduate Studies & Research, Admissions, Career Services, and University Relations and Public Affairs (Lee Brian Reba).  Departments involved included math, CSIT, EE, CME, biology & chemistry, environmental sciences, sustainability, criminal justice/homeland security, admissions, and career services.
