Town Hall Meeting Addresses Right Sizing

Student trustee Ollo Jean Pooda arranged for and moderated a town hall style gathering for university leaders to discuss the recent job actions and right sizing effort.  Trustees Chair Elaine A. Crider spoke openly about the efforts to bring the university in line with its current budgetary limits.  About 200 students, staff and others attended the meeting on January 31 to discuss a variety of issues.  Chairperson Crider vowed to conduct more open meetings with students and staff in order to hear and resolve concerns.
