For the third year this September, the University of the District of Columbia hosted the Green Living Expo

For the third year this September, the University of the District of Columbia hosted the Green Living Expo on the UDC/Van Ness Metro Plaza. Citizens, organizations and businesses shared ideas and practices for environmentally responsible living. With a strong partnership with the community, the 2011 Green Living Expo has become the largest green living gathering in the city. Music was provided by the Wilson High School Marching Band and the School Without Walls Rock Band. A bike tour and eco-walking tours were part of the festivities.
