Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Visits UDC

Washington, DC - Basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was at the UDC auditorium Monday afternoon.  The former LA Laker and current author and now documentary producer screened the soon to be released film based on his book “On the Shoulders of Giants.”  Jabbar talked to UDC students as well as Wilson Sr. High and other DCPS students about his life in the NBA and lessons he’s learned along the way.
