Department of Veterans Affairs Education Benefits Certification
The University of the District of Columbia's VA Certifying Official works to correctly and quickly process your education benefits claim. Therefore, it is very important to submit all of the required documentation, and to make sure they are complete and accurate.
To facilitate your certification to the Department of VA, please select the appropriate benefits category below depending on your status (new/transfer/continuing). You must be certified each semester for which you use VA education benefits.
Applying for VA education benefits at UDC for the first time:
- Chapter 33 - Post-9/11 GI Bill
- Chapter 33 - Post-9/11 GI Bill - Yellow Ribbon Program
- Chapter 30 - Montgomery GI Bill
- Chapter 1606 - Montgomery GI Bill - Selected Reserves
- Chapter 1607 - Reserves Educational Assistance Program (REAP)
- Chapter 31 - Vocational Rehabilitation
- Chapter 32 - Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP)
- Chapter 35 - Survivors and Dependents Benefits
Applying for VA education benefits at UDC for the first time, but have used benefits at another institution:
