Every 10 years, UDC conducts a self-study for the purposes of self-evaluation and institutional improvement as part of the decennial evaluation process set forth by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The self-study process is an integral part of UDC’s continuing accreditation and an opportunity to strengthen the university through a comprehensive assessment. The University is now in the final phase of the process when we distribute a draft of our Self-Study Report to be reviewed by the university community. The Preliminary Self-study Report is located on MyUDC, and updates are available on the Middle States 2016 organization in Blackboard.
The Middle States site visit will take place April 3-6, 2016, and between now and that time everyone's participation in the process is essential. The Self-Study Design document was accepted by MSCHE in April, 2014. A PowerPoint presentation was prepared to share with others to learn more about the self- study process. It is not too late to participate in the process by joining a subcommittee. Please complete an application , and/or contact the Co-chairs for the Self-study Steering Committee, Lena Walton, Yolanda Harris, or Brenda Brown.
