UDC Initiative on Equity, Civic Engagement, and Community Leadership

Mission

The Initiative on Equity, Civic Engagement, and Community Leadership (ICE) is charged with the task of instilling a campus-wide culture of service that promotes equity, civic responsibility, and community leadership. Funded by a generous private donation, the Initiative began its planning year in January 2011. ICE will be hosting several programs and events designed to engage faculty and students in a conversation about the importance of equity, civic responsibility, and community leadership to the learning process at UDC.
