Faculty Profiles

Dr. Sandra Jowers

One of the driving forces behind the Honors Program is History Professor Sandra Jowers. A graduate of Howard University, Dr. Jowers won UDC’s Junior Faculty of the Year in 2006-07. Her research focuses on documenting the history of the deaf community. She is teaching an Honors course on Oral History this semester.
