There will be a short orientation so volunteers will have a sense of the history of our neighborhood, the lives of our seniors and how their service fits into the overall mission of We Are Family in building caring, just and inclusive community.
Time: 9:30am - 1pm

Location 2: Food and Friends – 20 cars with at least 3 people in each car
20 cars for meal and grocery deliveries
Time: 9 AM – 12 noon

Location 3: UDC – Van Ness Campus – Sorting and Boxing Food – need 10 volunteers
Starting Monday, October 27, food will be collected at the Van Ness Campus, Community College and Bertie Backus locations until Friday, November 21.  On Saturday, November 22 in the 4.0 Lounge, Building 38, Level B from 9:30 a.m. until finished, the volunteers will sort the food and box it up to be donated.  One of the recipients of this food will be the UDC food pantry along with other charitable organizations.
