The University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Education, Research and Workforce Development Summit will be held November 9, 2006 as an exchange between educators, industry leaders and government representatives to review current successes and challenges confronting the District of Columbia, our nation and the international community relative to education, research and workforce development. The Summit will be presented in a platform that will encourage, promote and increase the participation of University of the District of Columbia students, faculty, and researchers in these challenging topics and the issues each represent.
Program Platform
The Summit is designed so that leaders in research, education and workforce development will be able to interact with UDC administrators, faculty, researchers, and students. The expected outcome of the Summit is the development of strategies for increasing funding and partnering opportunities for UDC in the areas of research, education and workforce development.
