Master Promissory Note
All first-time borrowers at the University of the District of Columbia with the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan program must complete the online Master Promissory Note (MPN). The MPN is a binding legal document. It contains the loan terms and conditions under which you are borrowing and the terms under which you agree to repay the loan. It is very important to read and save this document because you may need to refer to it later when you begin repaying your loan or at times when you may need information in regards to the provisions of the loan, such as deferments or forbearances.
You may complete the MPN by going to: www.studentloans.gov . You will be required to have your federal student aid PIN
