Films at Van Ness, UDC’s public programming of film and digital arts, brings eclectic educational events to our university community, our neighbors and our city at large.

This fall, the University’s Department of English hosts Kidding Around: The Child in Film and Media Conference and we have complemented this with two days of exceptional children’s films and two evenings of films from a child’s perspective.

The David A Clarke School of Law continues the popular Screen Justice Series of Documentaries and Discussionand our Department of Languages brings you amazing French feature films courtesy of The Tournées Festival.

Programming continues in early 2009 when The Institute of Aging brings films and workshops on traditional heritage to our community of seniors.

Finally, a warm welcome to families coming to the Kidding Around Festival of Children’s Films on September 26 and 27. We will serve up delightful movies, great activities (animation, yoga and crafts) and the chanced to meet a young star…
