Entrance/Exit Counseling
Entrance Counseling
All first-time borrowers from the Federal Stafford Loan Program at The University of the District of Columbia are required to complete an online Entrance Counseling Session. This federal requirement is to make the borrower aware of their rights and responsibilities prior to borrowing and entering into the loan agreement. Once the Entrance Counseling has been completed our office will receive electronic confirmation. No loan proceeds will be disbursed to a student’s account until the entrance counseling has been completed.
