
The Office of Financial Aid in conjunction with the University Bookstore is pleased to announce that starting Fall 2009 students will have the option of receiving book voucher funding in the form of a debit card. The debit card has significant advantages to the conventional process, such as:
After registering, students can begin to visit the OFA beginning August 20, 2009, to determine book voucher eligibility. Once funds are posted, the student can then go directly to the bookstore to secure the debit card. In addition, students will have the option of transferring all or a portion of the book voucher fund to the debit card. Students may request a refund of any unused portion of funds on the debit card. If students opt to not participate in the use of the debit card, they will be able to make in-store only purchases and will be subject to the imposed September 4, 2009 deadline date for book voucher use.
