AnnouncementsUniversity of the District of Columbia Begins Participation in the Federal Direct Loan Program… Beginning July 1, 2010, UDC will participate in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program. Students and parents who previously received loans through the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program must now borrow through the Direct Loan Program. For more information about Direct Loans, visit: http://www.direct.ed.gov/student.html. Students and parents who previously received loans through the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program must now borrow through the Direct Loan Program. The FAFSA must be completed to be considered for funding from all federal student aid programs, including the federal Stafford Loan.
