Scholarship Program

Employees of DC Child Care Centers & Family Child Care Homes

Purpose:

The University of the District of Columbia (UDC) - in partnership with the DC Office of Early Childhood Development (OECD) - announces tuition scholarship support for the 2001-2002 academic year. The purpose of the scholarship program is to increase the number of individuals in early care and education who are working toward a degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or Social Work.

Eligibility:

Any employee currently working in a licensed child care center or family child care home in the District of Columbia is eligible to participate in the scholarship program.

* Subject to change without advance notification. Out-of-state and graduate tuition rates are charged, where applicable.

Obtain an application for admission to UDC.

Have your employer sign the form, and return it to the Department of Education at time of registration. Continue with registration procedures.
