To contribute to the overall growth and development of the students who attend the University. To provide opportunities for students, faculty and staff to worship and grow in their faith in an ecumenical setting. To promote good unions among the students, faculty, staff and the Washington, DC Metropolitan community through faith. To provide religious or spiritual counseling for students, faculty, and staff. To advance knowledge and heighten awareness of faith based issues throughout the local, national and international levels of our global community. UDC believes in the lifelong process of learning and the open and free pursuit of truth. The development of the intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of all persons is necessary for healthy and fulfilling lives.
