Promoting Business: CRED provides
- A five part-training series in business development,
- A business incubator service,
- A business start-up service,
- A Registered Agent service.
Community and Co-op Development: CRED provides
- A seminar series in financial literacy,
- Tax prep for disadvantaged DC residents,
- Advocacy for affordable housing and co-op housing,
- Assistance for neighborhood groups with community planning and development concerns,
- An information series on energy deregulation and energy payment assistance,
- A special holistic approach to working with the ex-offender population.
Leadership and Organizational Development: CRED provides
- A 12-part series of training for co-op boards,
- Organizational training for non-profit advisory committees, councils and boards;
- Leadership training for volunteers.
Intergenerational Development for Youth and Seniors: CRED provides
- Support for 10 community computer-training centers for low-income youth,
- Career and business development seminars for school-age youth in community settings,
- A demand-driven information series for seniors.
