Student Programs
TEAM 100 is a comprehensive retention program that offers incoming freshmen mentoring to prepare them for the academic, social, personal, vocational, and financial challenges of college. Through bi-weekly group sessions, ongoing development workshops, and monthly one-on-one meetings, students are supported for success. For more information, contact Dr. Makon Fardis (202) 274 - 6000, mfardis@udc.edu Starting Early, Starting Smart College Success Program for Women is a college success program designed to meet the unique needs of female students in the community college. The program aims to help students develop the skills, self-help strategies, and supports needed to succeed in college and thrive personally. Entering freshmen women enrolled in the community college are eligible to participate in the full program, which offers workshops, support groups, linkages to university and community resources, enrichment and social activities, and one-on-one support throughout the first two years of the student’s university enrollment. Emergencies If You Don't See What You Need The list to your left is just intended to give you a general idea of the Center’s direct services. If you have other needs, please don’t be discouraged. Give us a call anyway. We are more than willing to chat with you. Together we will figure out how to best get you the help you need. Regular Hours By Appointment: Monday through Thursday between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM or Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. On the first Saturday of the month, we are open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Summer Hours By Appointment: Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Location Confidentiality Every student’s sense of privacy is important to us. For adult students (over 18), we do not release personal information without written consent, except in emergency situations where information is needed to protect health and safety. Quick Links
