To provide students with note-taking tips in order to enhance their level of academic success within the classroom environment.

October 20, 2009 - Mastering the Art of Studying
To conduct an assessment of students’ basic knowledge of study skills and to provide them with an array of enhancement techniques.

November 17, 2009 - Knowing Your Learning Style and Developing Learning Strategies
To provide students with information regarding common learning styles and to assess their preferred learning modalities or strategies.

December 1, 2009 - Preparing for Final Examinations: Learning Test-Taking Tips and Techniques
To provide students with common test-taking tips and techniques in order to enhance their test-taking skills on multiple choice, short-answer, listing, definition, fill-in-the blank, true-false, matching, and essay question-type examinations.

The list to your left is just intended to give you a general idea of the Center’s direct services.   If you have other needs, please don’t be discouraged.  Give us a call anyway.  We are more than willing to chat with you.  Together we will figure out how to best get you the help you need.

Regular Hours

By Appointment:  Monday through Thursday between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM or Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.  On the first Saturday of the month, we are open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Summer Hours

By Appointment: Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.

Every student’s sense of privacy is important to us.  For adult students (over 18), we do not release personal information without written consent, except in emergency situations where information is needed to protect health and safety.
