Thank you for considering pursuing higher education at the Community College of the District of Columbia. Effective fall semester 2009, students pursuing Associate Degrees or Certificate Programs will be admitted to the open admissions, Community College.

Official Transcripts
All students applying to the Community College need to submit official transcripts or official GED results.
First time college students should either a) request their official high school transcripts from their high school’s main office and include it with their Admissions application or b) submit official GED results to the Office of Admissions to complete their Admissions application.
Non-first time college students should request that their previous college or university send an official college/university transcript to the Office of Admissions to complete their Admissions application.

ACCUPLACER Placement Test
All new, first-time college students admitted to the Community College and students whose primary language is not English are required to take the computerized ACCUPLACER Placement Test. There is no charge to take the test. Please contact the Office of Placement Testing in building 38, room A-01 or call 202.274.6063 to schedule your test. You must present proper identification at the time of the test. Your test score results will be available upon completion of the test.
Additional Requirements
All students are also required to provide documentation of immunizations to the Community College in order to register for classes. Immunization records should be given to Health Services in building 44, room A-12. Please contact Health Services at 202.274.5030 for more information.
