PITT-JOHNSTOWN HANDS UDC FINAL GAME OF SEASON LOSS 94-52

Johnstown, PA: The University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown Mountain Cats handed the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds their final loss of the 2005-06 season today, 94-52. Pitt-Johnstown showed the undermanned Firebirds no mercy as they out shot and out scored their opponent 51% to 25% for the game.

Six of the Mountain Cats scored in double figures with Chris Gilliam taking the lead scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. Jumaane Sorrells led the Firebirds with 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Donnell Ellis had a double-double scoring 10 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

With this loss the Firebirds ended their season with a 1-22 record.
