UDCNAS 5th Annual Golf Championship: A Success On and
Off the Greens

Tradition was the name of the game for UDCNAS golf enthusiasts and their friends when they assembled September 25 at The Osprey’s Golf Club at Belmont Bay in Woodbridge, VA. From start to finish, the group of 27 golfers had two thoughts in mind: To play a good game of golf and to make a contribution toward the UDCNAS Endowed Scholarship Fund. When the day ended, their goals had been realized and the University’s official alumni organization celebrated another win for its busy agenda of activities. Here are some pictures from that day:

Your voice, your choice to get and stay involved in University and alumni affairs is membership in UDCNAS.  This alumni organization embraces ALL alumni who wish to fulfill their claim as stakeholders of their alma mater.  UDCNAS meets on the fourth Saturday of every other month at 10:30 a.m. in the UDC Small Conference Room (Building 39, 3rd Floor). If planning events and sponsoring programs to raise money for student scholarships, hosting alumni-student networking sessions and homecoming extravaganzas, and taking part in government relations activities to assist the University in its mission sounds interesting to you, come on board!  For more details, contact UDCNAS president Dr. Michael Woodard at WoodardAssociates@comcast.net.

The University of the District of Columbia National Alumni Society (UDCNAS) was established in 2002. The UDCNAS mission is:

  • To serve as a strong advocate for resources for The University of the District of Columbia at the State and Federal level;
  • To provide financial support and guidance for current and future students;
  • To maintain a close relationship among the UDC Alumni, including predecessor institutions.

UDCNAS elected officers in June 2008 are:
