Mission Statement: The Office of Alumni Relations is that University Advancement component that works toward building a new constituency of proactive alumni and pre-alumni " that is, current UDC students " as friends and financial contributors to the University of the District of Columbia. To fulfill this objective, the Office of Alumni Relations engages alumni in a wide range of program activities, such as homecoming, class reunions, social, cultural, and athletic events, and hosts recruitment activities, seminars, workshops, and networking opportunities to sustain a seamless link between students and graduates, and graduates and their alma mater.
