General Questions

For all general inquiries, the best way to ensure the quickest response is to email the Office at UDCadmissions@udc.edu. You can also call the Office directly at 202.274.6155; however, during peak application processing for Fall and Spring, we might be unable to answer your call. (Your Application is incomplete until  ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS are received by Admissions.)

Your call is important, so we will do our very best to answer and/or return your call as soon as we can do so.

Congratulations on your admission to the University! Please contact your assigned Admissions Counselor directly with any questions or concerns about your acceptance or the enrollment process. Please also review the next steps to enroll to ensure a smooth enrollment process.

Notice To All Students, Regarding the Academic Advising Unit's Temporary Move

The Academic Advising Center (AAC) at the Van Ness Campus has moved to a temporary location, effective immediately and until further notice:  Academic Advising Office, Building 39, Room 109.  The hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

If you need to make an appointment with your Advisor, please send an e-mail to aac@udc.edu or call 202.274.6899.  We look forward to providing support to our University students, faculty, and staff in the new academic year.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Visiting the Office

The Office of Recruitment and Admissions is located in the A level of Building 39 on the Van Ness campus. You can visit the One-Stop Student Services Center at any time during posted Office hours to apply for online admission at the Computer Kiosks in the main lobby, drop off official transcripts or other required credentials for admission, and/or to speak with an Admissions Counselor. The Lobby staff will direct you to the proper office.
