The University of the District of Columbia strongly encourages interested students and their families to visit the campus. To make the most of your visit, plan to spend at least a half day on campus. The day usually includes a tour of the campus and a meeting with a member of the Office of Recruitment or Admission staff. When the University is in session students may also sit in or meet with professors, athletic coaches and talk with current students. Campus TourDuring your scheduled campus tour, you will have opportunity to explore our campus-the classrooms, the Firebird Inn (cafe) and the facilities. Our tours are conducted by current students who will personalize your visit to meet your particular interests. Tours provide a comfortable informal setting where you can learn firsthand about being a University of the District of Columbia student. Class VisitThe University of the District of Columbia has professors and students from various backgrounds and cultures bringing diversified knowledge and experience. We have passionate and committed professors who share their experiences and skills to prepare and motivate our students to do well in school and beyond school. Appointments for class visits must be made in advance. Directions to the University of the District of ColumbiaThe University of the District of Columbia is conveniently located in the northwest community of Washington, DC. The Van Ness UDC metro subway station on the red line is located a step away from the main campus. Local buses also make frequent stops to our campus. Driving directions to the main campus Parking is available at the University’s main garage located at Connecticut Avenue and Van Ness Street. Please inquire with the office of Recruitment and Admission for parking passes. Metered parking is also available on nearby streets. |
