The Department of Electrical Engineering and  Computer Science offers a program leading to the  Associate in Applied Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, which  is accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission (TAC) of the  Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology  (ABET). The program provides a broad foundation in electronics circuits and devices including computer  electronics and communications. Emphasis is placed on  maintenance and troubleshooting of analog and digital systems.   The Primary objective of the program is to prepare students for successful of the program is to prepare students for successful employment as technicians in the following fields:

  • Communications
  • Public utilities
  • Research and development
  • Controls systems
  • Manufacture of electronics equipment and systems
  • Electronics servicing industry
  • Digital electronics and microprocessor
